Frame your friends and cause panic!

As part of the launch in France of “Le Royaume” DVD on 21st July 2008, Creativeshop, the interactive marketing agency, asked IDWEAVER to carry out the buzz marketing campaign « Frame your friends and cause panic! ».

This online marketing campaign is a trap which consists of framing a friend: a person receives an e-mail from his friends suggesting a confidential FBI page for him to check out. While he is reading this page, an intrusion warning surprises him and his name, mobile number and location flash up on the screen. They he receives a text announcing that…he havs been framed by a friend!
