As part of the marketing of the Touran with the Park Assist option, Barnes & Richardson and IDWEAVER are developing an online action for the Volkswagen client that is due to be launched on 20 November 2007. The idea is for users to make a video on the "without hands" theme, focusing on the functioning of the option in question, namely backing into a parking space without touching the wheel.
The selected videos are uploaded onto YouTube, with the action's closing tag edited in. They are then syndicated to the "Without hands" site by means of Google's GData API, a site on which the amateur filmmakers can then promote their video so as to obtain the best ranking and the highest number of views.
